It’s Minnesota. It’s winter. What are your kids going to do now??
Bring them to the Hearts and Minds Learning Community in Roseville! Our winter mornings and winter afternoon programs are for kids ages 3-6 to safely explore and learn outdoors first, with indoor activities when little toes get too cold.
The Hearts and Minds Learning Community is an outdoors-first learning program located in Roseville, MN.
Ms. Emily, our early childhood education lead, loosely plans themes and activities for each week, but also allows the kids’ interests and passions to lead the way, encouraging cooperation, community and enhancing the magic of learning. Kids spend their day playing in our field or forest spaces, taking nature walks and, when toes need toasting, doing activities in our indoor learning space. Discover more about what we learn and how we’re learning.

DUE TO MASSIVE OUTBREAKS OF PEDIATRIC RESPIRATORY ILLNESSES AND CURRENT EMERGENCY-LEVEL CONDITIONS IN CHILDREN’S HEALTH CARE AND HOSPITALS, KN95 MASKS ARE REQUIRED FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS DURING ALL INDOOR TIMES AT HMLC except when eating or drinking.
ALL CHILDREN ARE REQUIRED TO BE UP TO DATE ON ALL VACCINES IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN HMLC PROGRAMMING.
HMLC programs are open to children ages 3-6. HMLC is not a childcare program and we do not have the facilities or personnel to perform diaper changes, so we ask that all learners be using the toilet reasonably reliably. Disposable training pants (such as Pull-Ups or similar) are fine.
As masks are required indoors at all times, all learners must reliably be able to wear a mask.
HMLC is listed in the NowPow directory as a safer educational resource for pediatric patients in care at local hospitals and specialist settings. HMLC strives to offer safer educational and socialization choices for children/families with high-risk medical conditions.
Due to our small class sizes and customized programs, space is extremely limited. Register today!
